Peter brings more than 29 years experience working with young people and their families in visual and performing arts areas, including directing Educational Theater and STEAM-focused Project-Based Learning along with Visual Art & Design. He's enjoyed applying his experience in curriculum design, assessment, and school leadership as director of various educational programs, initiatives, and administrative roles throughout his career, always an advocate for student voice and agency. Peter is truly excited to continue learning and growing in his work with Visual Art & Design and Yearbook students at Mauston High School!

Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Peter graduated in 1995 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in K-12 Art Education. In 2003, he earned his Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Curricular Design from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. He currently commutes from his home in Monona where he lives with his wife, two cats, and a fluctuating number of backyard chickens, and is periodically visited by his two young adult sons.
