Q: Where is summer school located?
A: Most classes are at the New West Side Elementary this year. We may use gyms or additional rooms in other buildings for programming as necessary.
Q: How much does summer school cost?
A: Most summer school classes are FREE. However some classes, such as cooking and Summer Rec. have some materials fees. There is a fee of $35.00 for students in Minors, Little League, Senior Baseball & Softball to cover the cost of travel, and a $10.00 T-Shirt fee for students in T-Ball and Rookie League. See the Summer School catalog for information. Families will need to complete the Summer Rec Online form to indicate shirt sizes. Payments can be made at the School District of Mauston District office or online using Skyward Family Access E-Funds.
Q: Where do I pay fees?
A: Payments can be made in person at the District office, or online using E-funds through Skyward Family Access.

A: Yes, school age child care is available both before and after summer school. See Eagle Care information on page 13 of the catalog.
Q: We are planning a vacation during summer school, or we have a couple of days when we can't attend during a session. Can my child still attend?
A: Yes - We are flexible with attendance during summer school. Please come as many days as you can. We will ask you to let us know when students will be gone for safety reasons.
Q: I see that you have busing from Lyndon as well as some stops. What time will the buses run?
A: The morning bus stops will be set up so that students arrive on campus for their 8:00 am classes. Buses will run the return routes after the classes that end at 2:00 pm. Specific times will be communicated by Jevco when they put together the route.
Q: How do I just sign up for baseball or softball? I'm not interested in other summer enrichment.
A: Sign-up for baseball and softball is in Skyward. In Skyward Arena Scheduling, use the subject filter to search for "outdoor activities". The District is partnering with the city so that sign-up for all summer activities is in one place. Please complete the necessary online forms including Summer Registration as well to make sure we have current contact information.
Q: How do I get a Skyward Account to sign up for classes?
A: If your child attends the School District of Mauston during the school year, you have a family access account. If you don't know your login, please contact the office of the school your child attends. If your child does not attend the School District of Mauston during the school year, please see directions for Registration for Out of District Families on the Summer School webpage.
Q: I want to sign my son or daughter up for baseball/softball. Where will practices be held?

Q: My grandchildren are going to be with me this summer for a week? Can they attend the library program?
