Hello!  My name is Lisa Varney.  I am the Kindergarten teacher at Lyndon Station Elementary!  I was born and raised in Stevens Point, WI, and I attended UW-Stevens Point for my undergraduate degree.  I received my Masters degree from UW-Milwaukee.  I have been teaching for thirty one years, twenty eight of them in the Mauston School District.  I previously taught in the Campbellsport School District.  Lyndon Station Elementary is an awesome school!  We are one big family here!  Our motto is "Small School....Big Heart", and that is so true!  I really enjoy working with the young ones. Their enthusiasm for learning is what makes my job so fun!  My personal motto is "Childhood should be a journey, not a race"! We have lots of fun in Kindergarten!
