My name is Adam Heinrich and I have taught Social Studies in the School District of Mauston since 2002. I earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in Broadfield Social Studies including certification in Geography, History, Political Science and Sociology.

I believe Social Studies is fundamental in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to not only live in the United States, but in a globally connected world. To accomplish this task, I emphasize linking prior knowledge with new information, developing communication skills, and identifying multiple perspectives to help students make informed and reflective personal decisions.

I coach 7th grade girl's basketball as well as 7th and 8th grade football. In addition, I act as a student advisor for The National Geographic Bee and The Patriot's Pen essay competition.

I enjoy spending time with my family as well as camping, hunting, fishing and biking.
