This is my 17th year teaching and coaching in the Mauston School District and I truly enjoy it.  I spent the previous 11 years teaching physical education and health in the northern part of Illinois.  I am extremely happy to be in central Wisconsin where I can enjoy my hobbies of hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and spending time out doors.  My family includes my wife of 33 years Jami, daughter Vanessa and son Spenser.

I graduated from Mankato State University in Minnesota with degrees in athletic training and physical education.  I spent two years working at a sports medicine clinic as a certified athletic trainer before getting into the field of teaching.  I have coached football for 24 years and basketball for 18 years.
