Jen has taught in Mauston her entire career, teaching middle & high school Health and seventh grade Language Arts for 15 years before being hired as the district's Library Media & Ed Tech Specialist for grades six through twelve in 2015. While Jen loved being in the classroom, working with teachers and students through the library has always been a professional dream of hers, as it combines her passions for all things books and technology.

Originally from Hayward, Wisconsin, Jen graduated in 1997 from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a degree in Elementary Education including licensure in Health Education. In 2008 she earned her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Viterbo University in LaCrosse.
