This is my second year teaching at Mauston High School and my fifth year of teaching overall. In addition to teaching, I also coach JVR volleyball here at MHS! Before joining the Mauston team, I spent three years teaching and coaching at Iowa-Grant High School.b My goal as a teacher is simple: I want every student to leave my classroom having gained something—whether it’s new knowledge, a useful skill, or a positive attitude toward learning. Outside of school, life is an adventure! My boyfriend, Josh, and I are in the middle of remodeling our house—we’ve been without a kitchen (including a sink!) for over a year. We share our home with two cats, Ollie and Archie, and our dog, Indie, who we love taking on walks. When I have free time, you’ll usually find me watching Hard Knocks or Law & Order: SVU, or getting lost in a good book—anything from thrillers to fantasy.
