Hello, my name is Steven McGlynn.  I grew up in the small town of Lime Ridge, Wisconsin and graduated from Weston High School (2007).  I then attended UW Platteville graduating with a double major in Biology and Broad-field Science and an Environmental Science minor.  I taught for 5 years in the Southwestern Wisconsin School District in Hazel Green, WI.  

Middle school is often seen as a tough age, but I really enjoy seeing the students mature and grow from 6th grade to 8th grade.  While I'm always looking to educate my students in their academics, I believe that a large part of my job is to instill the values and ethics that will make the students grow into successful adults that will contribute to society in a positive manner.

In my free time in enjoy playing sports, reading, walking my dogs and playing videogames.
