Update for Parents and Community!

School District of Mauston Community Field, Track & Grandstand Projects The referendum field, track and grandstand project is basically completed. As of this date, we have not given formal approval to enter the site but that will come shortly. The track and grandstand construction has met all formal certification for occupancy. The new press box is near internal completion. The new sound system is installed as well. The landscapers and general contractor have recommended that the new grass on the field needs the month of August to strengthen the grass foundation. The District is working with Olympic Builders and the landscape contractor to determine if Varsity Soccer and Football can be played on the field in mid- to late- September. The District is slotted to play its Homecoming Game on the new field on Friday September 29. We are hopeful that we can get up to two soccer games on the new field mid to late September as well. Please stay tuned for the formal notice to open the newly surfaced track for public use. We ask that there is no other foot traffic on the new field, aside from the Varsity Soccer and Football games in mid to late September. We thank you for your patience regarding our new stadium! We are all looking forward to the opportunities and fun that it will bring our school district and community in the years to come.
