This handbook explains the mentoring program for educators in their second and third years of teaching in the District. Roles and responsibilities of all participants are outlined.

Year 2-3 Monthly Checklists

Mentors meet with initial educators weekly and submit monthly checklists to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Checklists serve as a guide for conversations.

Initial Educator Mentoring

This document includes a weekly reflection tool for the initial educator to use as a communication piece with their mentor. Also included in this document are Professional Development Growth Plan worksheets for the initial educator as well as monthly checklists for the one-on-one mentor to complete and forward to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
