LMTC Specialist Email Phone: (608)847-5616 ext. 2203 My name is Brandon Luehman. I am the K-5 Library Media Technology Specialist. This is my 24th year teaching in Mauston.
Amery, Wisconsin is where I grew up and graduated high school. I attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching for a few years here in Mauston, I graduated from Viterbo University with a Masters Degree in Education.
While here in Mauston, I have been a 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher. I also spent 13 years as a K-6 computer teacher. In the fall of 2018, I accepted the position I currently hold as the K-5 Library Media Technology Specialist.
Much of the past last 24 years have been spent coaching a variety of sports at several different age levels. When I first arrived in Mauston most of my experience was at the high school level coaching freshman, jv, and varsity football. I was also the head boys varsity tennis coach for 12 years and girls varsity coach for 2 years. Then as my boys began to grow up, my coaching focus moved to the grade school level. I was fortunate to be able to coach my 3 sons and their buddies in football, tennis, hockey, soccer, and baseball.
Members of my family include my wife Sally and my sons Riley (20) who attends the University of Wisconsin and is a part of the Air Force ROTC program, Mason (17) a junior at MHS and Jack (16) a sophomore at MHS. We also have two cats and one dog.
In my free time I love to do anything that is active including: all sports, fishing, kayaking, grilling, traveling, coaching, and competing in running races.
